Terms & Conditions

For trade customers of Pro Lab (photographers, studios and album designers). Last updated 22 October 2026.

These terms apply to every Pro Account and every order placed with Pro Lab, whether through this website, File Transfer, WhatsApp, email or in person. By opening a Pro Account or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. Pro Accounts

Pro Accounts are for photographers, studios and album designers who send print-ready files and are approved by Pro Lab. Pro Lab reviews each request and creates the account; approval is at our discretion and usually takes 1–2 working days.

• Keep your login details private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
• Keep your details (studio name, phone, address, GST number if any) up to date.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

2. Trade prices

• Trade prices are shown only to logged-in account holders and are confidential to your studio. Please do not share or publish them.
• Your price level is set by Pro Lab based on how regularly you order, and is reviewed from time to time. It can move up or down.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclude 18% GST, which is added to your invoice. Courier charges, where applicable, are also added to your invoice.
• Prices are valid from the date shown on the price list and may change. The price that applies to an order is the one in force when we confirm the order.

3. Orders and payment

• An order is confirmed when we have your files, your order details and payment, unless other payment terms have been agreed with your account in writing.
• We do not start production until payment is complete.
• Production times on this website are working days from confirmed, print-ready files. Delivery time is extra.
• Please check the contact and delivery details you give us. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect details.

4. Your files and content

We print what you send. Before sending, make sure your files follow our file requirements (JPEG, sRGB, 300 dpi, 3 mm bleed, text at least 2 mm from the centre fold, files numbered 001, 002, 003…). We do not proof, edit or redesign your content, so we are not responsible for:

• spelling, grammar or other text errors;
• low-resolution images that print soft or pixelated;
• design, layout, cropping or colour choices made in your files;
• differences between how colours look on your screen and in print.

If we notice a technical problem with your files we will try to contact you before printing, but checking your files remains your responsibility.

5. Your rights to the images

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, every image and design you send us, including your clients’ photographs. We will not print content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, or that infringes someone else’s rights, and we may cancel an order that contains it.

6. Faults and replacements

If a product arrives damaged in transit or has a production fault caused by us, we will repair or replace it as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Our website

The content of this website (text, images, price lists and cover designs) belongs to Pro Lab and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. We aim to keep the site available at all times but are not liable if it is unavailable for a period. Links to other sites, such as our file-transfer service, are provided for convenience; those sites have their own terms.

8. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as loss of business or loss of a client, arising from a delay or a fault.

9. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Pro Lab for any claim, loss or cost arising from content you send us or from your breach of these terms.

10. Changes

We may update these terms, our services or our prices at any time. The version on this page applies to new orders.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved by arbitration at Pro Lab or, failing that, by the courts of Bengaluru (Bangalore), which have exclusive jurisdiction.
