Trade account
Anyone who designs their own albums or photo books and can send finished, print-ready files: professional photographers, studios, aspiring photographers, and designers who work in Canva, AI design tools or any other software. Every account is checked and approved by us. Would you rather make a photo book online with our step-by-step editor? Visit prolab.in.
Apply on the Who is Pro Lab Trade for? page with your name, city, mobile, email and a link to your portfolio or website, or a sample of an album or book you have designed. GSTIN is optional. We check your details and send your login, usually within 1–2 working days.

Yes. Every trade order comes with a GST invoice.
Files
JPEG, sRGB colour, 300 dpi at final size, 3 mm bleed on every edge and text at least 2 mm from the centre fold. Name files in order: 001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.jpg. Full details are on How to Order.
Any software that exports JPEG spreads, for example Fundy Designer, DgFlick Album Xpress, Adobe Photoshop, Canva or AI design tools. Export one file per spread at our spread size.
Use File Transfer (WeTransfer or Smash) or email them to prints@prolab.in, and fill in the order form so the files and the instructions arrive together. With every order you confirm the files are print-ready: correct size, 3 mm bleed, text clear of the fold, and design, text and spelling checked. We print what you send.
Yes. Album designing is an extra service, quoted per job. Ask when you send your files.
Production & rush orders
Counted in working days from approved files: Lay Flat Album 2 days, MEGA Lay Flat Album 3 days, RGB and CMYK Photo Books 2 days. Delivery time is on top. Designing time is extra if we design for you.
Once your files are approved, your job starts the same day or the next working day, depending on how many albums and books are in the queue that day. We confirm the start date when we approve your files.
Sometimes. Send approved files before 11:00 AM and ask for rush. There is no extra charge. Rush is offered occasionally, when the day’s load allows, so call or WhatsApp the trade desk to confirm before you upload. We keep every rush date we confirm, but a machine breakdown or similar problem can sometimes cause a delay; if that happens, we tell you straight away.
Samples & test prints
Yes. Trade accounts can order display samples at 10–15% below their trade price. We design and brand the cover page with your studio logo in place of ours, and the album uses the same paper, printing and binding as a client order. Write SAMPLE on the order form and send your logo as a PNG or vector file. More about samples.
Yes. Order a few test prints from your own files and compare them with your screen and your edits. Test prints are charged at your trade print rate. Write TEST PRINT on the order form.
Products & delivery
Lay Flat Albums take 10 to 35 spreads. Photo Books take 10 to 60 spreads.
Yes, with both layflat albums and photo books. See Covers for the options.
Everything is made in-house at our own lab in Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, where we have been printing since 2006.
Yes. We ship by tracked courier anywhere in India, or you can pick up from our lab in Basavanagudi.
